Pricing

Pay for resolutions. Not seats.

A seat licence charges you for having the software. A deflection charges you for a customer giving up. Inflection charges for a completed action — and nothing else.

02 / Definition

What counts as a resolution

This is the part most vendors leave vague, because vague is profitable. Ours is one sentence: Inflection completed an action in your app that the customer asked for, and the customer confirmed it.

billed

You pay for

A refund issued. An order cancelled. An address changed. A subscription stopped. Something in your product is different because Inflection did it.

free

You never pay for

Answering a question. Reading the page. A customer who abandoned the chat. An escalation to a human. A failed attempt. A retry.

03 / Models

Why not the other ways

Per seatCharges for headcount you're trying to redeploy. The better it works, the worse the deal looks.
Per conversationCharges for every "hello", including the ones that went nowhere.
Per deflectionCharges you when the customer gives up. The incentive points the wrong way.
Per resolutionCharges only when the job is finished. Our incentive is your outcome.
04 / Included

Everything, on every plan

There is no tier where safety is an upsell.

01

Confirm gates

Nothing runs without an explicit confirmation.

02

Boundaries

Declare what Inflection may never do on its own.

03

Audit trail

Every action logged with the control it touched.

04

Unlimited seats

Your whole team, at no extra cost.

05 / Questions

The awkward ones

What if Inflection does the wrong thing?
Every action passes a confirm gate, so the customer sees what will happen before it happens, and the action is logged with the exact control it touched. If a resolution was wrong, it isn't billed — and we would rather find out why than argue about the invoice.
Do I pay when it escalates to a human?
No. Escalation is a correct outcome, not a failure, and charging for it would push us to escalate more. Handoffs are free on every plan.
Is there a minimum?
Not during the design-partner programme. Once launch pricing is set, Growth carries a small monthly minimum and Enterprise is contracted annually.
What happens when volume spikes?
You pay for what resolves, so cost tracks demand rather than a forecast. Above ten thousand resolutions a month, volume pricing applies automatically.
Can I cap spend?
Yes. Set a monthly ceiling and a per-action limit. Past either, Inflection answers and escalates instead of acting.
Do I need to replace my helpdesk?
No. Inflection is the resolution layer. Tickets, queues, and reporting stay where your team already works — see Enterprise.
